A Weekend trip in 2 Texas Towns you've never heard of

sunny 33 °C

When people talk about Texas, they think about Austin, Dallas, Houston and eventually San Antonio. But Texas is way bigger than these 4 cities and the small towns in between can offer a lot of good surprises.

I was invited to spend a weekend in a family house in Kingsland, TX.

This weekend was so relaxing and peaceful, it's been a long time I haven't enjoyed such quiet and chilling vibes!

The drive to Kingsland, TX from Austin, TX was pretty straight. It took us a little more than 1 hour and a half to reach this man-made lake.

On the way, we stopped to a little town called Bertram. At first, we thought it was a ghost town. We parked our car and took a few pictures of a picturesque train station.

A few meters from this train station, you can find an amazing wall that looks like a giant postcard.

Besides deserts and ghost towns, there is so much to discover in Texas.
