The Girl in Wetsuit is in Vancouver, BC

sunny 22 °C

If you're lucky to visit Vancouver, BC this summer, make a stop in Coal Harbour, North of Vancouver Downtown area (and if you don't know why you should go to Vancouver, check these amazing stories about Vancouver).

If you're into morning runs like me, make sure you start your day on the seawall. You'll be greeted with an amazing view of Vancouver and will have the honor to meet the famous "Girl In Wetsuit".

Although a lot of people think this is the statue of a mermaid, it's really just a girl in wetsuit. Apparently, this statue is a gift from a sculptor to the Vancouver Park Board. I like the fact that it represents Vancouver's dependence on the sea.
