The Best Itinerary for a 2-week trip in Turkey

sunny 30 °C

I've visited Turkey a few months ago! Oh my! It's such a beautiful country! I'll definitely go back when the opportunity arises... 2 weeks is probably rushing it but it's still worth it! Here's what I've done:

- Istanbul (3 days)

Find an accommodation near Fatih and visit the blue mosque. The Hagia Sophia Museum, the Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar are places you don't want to miss while in Istanbul.

- Ephesus (1 day)

Wander in the Ancient City, go to Mother Mary home and visit St John church.

- Pamukkale (1 day)

This is another Ancient City so wandering around the city will bring you back in the glorious days of Turkey. Book an accommodation in a hot springs hotel, that's worth it.

- Antalya (2 days)

I couldn't stay longer there as I didn't have enough time at that point of my trip (and I wanted to go to Capadoccia for the rest of my trip. But, if you're planning to hit this place, you should definitely stay longer. A local wrote a list of places to visit in Antalya and I'll definitely go back one day :)

- Capadoccia (3 days)

This place doesn't need any introduction as there are many guides online (this blog post is probably the best). Of course, I've done the infamous hot air balloon ride (for the pictures :p) but you should totally visit the underground city and its numerous caves.

I wrote about my travels on my microblog if you want to follow my adventures :)
